What if you could

Consistently show up in your meditation practice and cultivate a calm mind and clear heart?

And what if you could:

  • Trust in your resiliency and ability to be present with whatever arises

  • Find some breathing room, balance and perspective whenever you need it

  • Respond rather than react, making choices from a calm mind and clear heart

  • Finally have a daily meditation practice that you can actually show up for

Calm Mind, Clear Heart:

6 week program to establish a meditation practice so that you can find

Space - When can I catch a breath? When do I get a break?  I need some breathing room.

Balance - How do I do it all?  How do I take care of myself and others?  I have to juggle it all.

Tranquility - How do I become the parent/partner I want to be?  How do I stop constantly reacting? How can I have more patience with others?  I'd like to consciously respond.

Peace - How do I learn to trust myself?  How do I learn to love and accept myself?  How do I stop thinking so much? I want to find inner calm.

Iam ready to find the meditation practice that works for me

Are you:

  • Stressed or anxious, caught up in the demands of everyday life or cycles of reactivity

  • Wanting to create more balance and space in your busy life but not sure how to fit in a meditation practice

  • Brand new to meditation, not sure if you’re doing it right but know you need more calm and presence in your life

  • Able to meditate when life is smooth but eventually something gets in the way or you lose momentum and your practice just doesn’t stick

Here are just 4 of the strategies we’ll explore in Calm Mind, Clear Heart so that you can develop a meditation practice that works for you:

1. Just Show Up

Let’s get started with daily meditation. The best way to get a daily meditation practice is to just show up and take your seat with me. Each week will include 2 meditation sessions because the best way to build a meditation practice is to practice meditating.

2.

Integrate into Daily Life

Because establishing a meditation practice is not as simple as just sitting or taking a pause, I’ll take you through some steps to integrate your practice and help make it stick beyond the program.

3. Support Your Practice

You don’t have to do it alone, find accountability and extra support through weekly group mentoring calls, resources and an invitation to reflect and engage more deeply through the workbook, homework activities and Facebook group community.

4. Develop Confidence

All of the above lead you to feel confident in your practice and see achievable results.

Hi! I’m Zoe.

I was first introduced to meditation as a part of my movement practices, including yoga, tai chi and qi gong when I was 15. Years later, I founded my clinic Seaside Family Acupuncture with the goal of integrating the different branches of oriental medicine: acupuncture, herbs and diet, meditation, bodywork and movement. I used meditation to center myself, especially in my work with patients. I began using guided meditation as a part of my acupuncture treatments with all of my patients and found it key, often where the magic happens.

Over the years I have deepened my meditation practice by doing silent insight or vipassana meditation retreats as well as many yoga and tai chi or qi gong retreats, but felt frustrated at the gap between life in the retreat bubble and integrating meditation into my busy everyday life. It’s so easy to meditate on a retreat but then so tough to keep it going after a couple of weeks. Helping others develop and deepen a meditation practice that works for them has become one of my life’s works.

In this program, you will be able to develop a meditation practice that grows with you, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned meditator. There are a few essential elements of a meditation practice I can break down simply for you. Let’s make it easy and kickstart your practice with a short meditation each day and key tips on how to integrate meditation into your everyday life.

What students are saying:

A door was opened for me to begin a personal meditation practice. I’m grateful for Zoe’s ability to open this door, by making it simple enough to step out and begin, her encouragement along the way and her knowledge and depth of understanding a meditation practice. Your meditation course taught me how to make space for meditation, that no matter how small, while sitting, walking, or even eating can bring much needed stillness into my life. Thank you!
— Janet R.
A wonderful course that walks you through and supports your meditation practice -exposing you to many different possibilities and supporting you while addressing challenges.
— Margaret D.
As a beginner to the formal practice of meditation, the most impactful element for me was to discover how physically refreshing, enriching, and nourishing, meditation can be even within 10 or 15 minutes. The course is a very accessible, friendly, supportive group mediation that is well tailored for the individual’s own needs.
— Jocelyn F.
Most importantly in stressful situation I have learned to pause and breathe and do the same with my friends that are going through a hard time. I LOVE the singing bowl also. All around I am so thankful that you have helped open up my world to meditation, it has been  so good for me. Thank you!
— Dasha T.
