It’s time to discover your

inner anchor

There is so much unrest in the world and things are always changing. Even changes for the better can be stressful and anxiety producing. The pace of change seems to have really accelerated. It’s easy to feel adrift or overwhelmed and out of control. That’s why I developed these guided meditations to help you become your own anchor even if you are stressed or struggling.

This program helps you get through trying times, to feel calm, secure and strong. The meditations can benefit short-term by helping to manage acute anxiety and slow down, as well as long-term to cultivate a mindful loving presence and break the habitual reactions to stress and anxiety.

Three Stages of the program:

1. Anchor

It’s important to be able to anchor and to slow down racing thoughts, and focus on the present. Using some simple anchoring techniques, the first stage is to quiet your monkey mind and train your attention so you don’t fixate on anxiety or stress.

2. Self-Compassion

Now that you’ve been able to slow down and be more present these practices will help reassure you and strengthen your stability. Once you’ve remembered you’re ok then you practice being kind to yourself. You can become your own source of relief and nurturing.

Hi! I’m Zoe.

I was first introduced to meditation as a part of my movement practices, including yoga, tai chi and qi gong when I was 15. Years later, I founded my clinic Seaside Family Acupuncture with the goal of integrating the different branches of oriental medicine: acupuncture, herbs and diet, meditation, bodywork and movement. I used meditation to center myself, especially in my work with patients. I began using guided meditation as a part of my acupuncture treatments with all of my patients and found it key, often where the magic happens.

Over the years I have deepened my meditation practice by doing silent insight or vipassana meditation retreats as well as many yoga and tai chi or qi gong retreats, but felt frustrated at the gap between life in the retreat bubble and integrating meditation into my busy everyday life. It’s so easy to meditate on a retreat but then so tough to keep it going after a couple of weeks. Helping others develop and deepen a meditation practice that works for them has become one of my life’s works.

In this program, you will be able to develop a meditation practice that grows with you, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned meditator. There are a few essential elements of a meditation practice I can break down simply for you. Let’s make it easy and kickstart your practice with a short meditation each day and key tips on how to integrate meditation into your everyday life.
